Pasting this into the Greece thread....

Well DH has gone and I'm in the museum killing time because it's raining and I've checked into a diff hotel and the room isn't ready.

On the way to the museum I thought what am I doing? ( it was early, no one around, raining). In that moment I heard some gentle chanting and I saw a very small
Church - coincidentally it's patron saint shares the same name as me. So I went inside and lit a candle and sat down and thought to myself... oh my god, I'm here and I'm so grateful for the opportunity. I don't know what will happen but in that moment I felt hopeful and happy.

Of course that was also tear squirting moment (thankfully I held back the ugly crying because I know there's a whole lot of that not far away with all these hormones).

So I'm gonna hang here for a while, read and then I'm going back to diporto for a hot bowl of chickpea soup a chunk of bread, olives and cheese - maybe a cheeky glass of red wine).

If the wifi is decent at the hotel I am gonna spend the arvo in bed watching movies. This weather begs for it!

Hi @Alicat77 yes i am feeling ok. Getting a bit nervous about my scan, i just do hope there is something in there, that is the right size and in the right place. I'm doing it on thursday at 6+3 weeks just because im at my clinic for intralipids anyway and they have been very kind and indulging me. They said it might be too early for a heartbeat and to not worry if we cant see one and that i will do another one a week later to look for heartbeat. I might put that 2nd one off until im 8 weeks is they say its ok coz next weekend im going to see Ice-T Body count concert and if I get bad news the day before i go, it might ruin my trip to sydney fir the concert... although i would be able to get on the grog and party and i probably won't be able to resist finding out so, yeah i dunno. Time will tell. I write lots of stuff which sometimes makes me sound "well adjusted" but im just as cray-cray and scared of the unknown future as we all are to be honest. I am determined to somehow go back sometime though if this one doesn't work out. I so do not want to have to do that though. I will definately be devastated for goodness knows how long. But i will survive. xox

I've got sore boobs, a bit of nausea and am hungry all the time lol but I still feel nervous that something will go wrong. Oh the never ending worry!

    Hello Sweet Ladies,

I am new on these blog and you have to apologize my not perfect english because I am from germany and have not many practise.
I am half greek/german so we decided for DE Dr. Nikos in Athens and were there in the middle of may. Unfortunately we had no luck .
Now the time for me is running, because I am going to be 49 in june. My husband is lucky, he is 31. Before we tried in Germany 5 times ivf. For me it was each time an emotional up and down situation.
Actually I have to look parallel for a new job opportunity, since my last job finished after 3 months in march. The direct boss likes to bullying her new time I decide to go. This is not a workplace I want to be a part of and my business future.

For me is it really soothing to read that I not alone with the wish to get a baby and the difficulties to make the wish come true. Also it is amazing that you ladies are helping among and support each other. I was reading for the last two months a get so a lot of informations and a good personal view for the clinic embryoland, Dr. Nik and the team, which helped me to make my decision for them.
Bestbwishes for all ladies with positive results and all on the way to it.

May I ask how many DE transfers do you think are needed?
