Hi @Chyna thanks for asking the bleeding started wed night and stopped Friday morning haven’t had any since. Something tells me its not the end and to expect more just because my ob said that might be my normal - but not stressing about it as much now, hopefully all will be good.

@Heyside I have so much respect for you with how strong and positive you have been able to be through this whole process. I know from experience how scary the bleeding can be every time it makes an appearance. I kept checking my knickers the whole way through my pregnancy right up until the end! I think going through this IVF process definitely puts us even more on edge!! Your little jelly bean will be so amazed one day when you tell him/her about your miracle journey. Every day gets you closer to starting that beautiful relationship xx

Thanks @mrsparso I think a lot of ladies in here have been through a lot including yourself and its bloody hard work at times but I suppose we have to just deal with everything one step at a time. Thanks hun yes definitely on edge with the blood but it will all be worth it in the end hopefully. We told DD today who was very excited, hope nothing goes wrong now.

How is everyone else in here who's cycling?? Hope everyone is well x

Hi hun all good with ob appointment last week, a few meds reduced and eventually will be off most of them. Wazza wanted me to have two more intralipids but my ob didn't think I needed any at this stage so we comprised and had my last one on Monday. How are you hun how is that cycle of yours going?

Default Intralipids on the day of the transfer

    Hi ladies,

I was hoping if I could get some advise from anyone who has done the Intralipids.
I'm doing an IVF cycle with Dr DeAmbrosis at the moment and was just wondering what happens with the Intralipids on the day of the transfer. I thought the transfer happens at the Dr's office ( I could be wrong ) and the Intralipds is done at St Andrews. If you are under the influence of Valium for the transfer, how did you get to the hospital? Or do you get the Intralipids done before the transfer?
I live in Gold Coast so I have to figure out whether I stay in Brisbane before/after the transfer as well... Too many unknowns at the moment...
My husband works away so he won't be here to drive me around..

I've had Valium with another FS and I'm pretty sure I wasn't alert enough to drive..

Thank you in advance for any info.

Hi @goldy77 - The transfer is done at the Spring Hill specialist hospital which is just across the road from St Andrew's on North st. If you need intralipids on that day they will give it you there in that hospital, its done much more quickly than at St Andrews and you have a smaller dose as it has to fit in with the time available at the hospital - Warren is quite happen with this and says its sufficient. I had DH with me on transfer day so he drove me to and from the hospital but I wouldn't take the valium until you are there as sometimes the dctrs can be running late or there might be a delay, personally the vallium left my system quickly too so I was best taking it half an hour before transfer. I don't think the nurses will let you leave the hospital under the influence of the valium alone but I may be wrong. Intralipids are usually done after transfer. Hope that helps hun x

Thank you, @Heyside. That was exactly what I wanted to know. I'm planning on staying at a hotel nearby so I hope they will let me go on my own after the transfer.
