Yes for sure. I am really hoping this is not our only option though as we really didn't factor in the costs of ivf and we just can't afford it. Don't know what we will do financially if we have to go the ivf road. Feeling very overwhelmed.

What state are you in? I ask because a lot of women in here have had success with Primary IVF who bulk bill IVF. If you have private health insurance it's completely bulk billed. If not, I think it's only a $600 out of pocket expense to collect your eggs.

And about $160 on top of that for all the medication!

Thanks so much everyone. We are very happy but also very scared as we had a mc in November. But fingers crossed for a nice and healthy pregnancy.

I'm in Victoria. I didn't realise it could be bulk billed! I have Private Health. I'll have to look into it. Does it matter how old you are? I'm turning 35 soon.

It's doesn't matter how old you are!! Go here: https://primaryivf.com.au/ and give them a call tomorrow and maybe make an appointment to discuss it all. All bulk billed!! You'll only be out of pocket the injections, which is about $100-$150 per cycle as most of the injections are covered under the PBS!

@jackie2 yay! Enjoy cloud nine! I had a chemical early this year too, it's hard not to be paranoid.

In my case, my HCG levels were SO much higher this time... and I found out today they doubled in 48 hours or less (stupidly didn't ask for the second HCG number).
