Hey girls, just a quick tmi question on day 1 of your AF. Do you usually get red coloured blood straight away when she arrives? Mine is always brown and the size of a ten cent piece.. Then the next day it's usually browny red but never bright red blood.. Is that bad?

Mine is always bright red in colour, also have clots too ☹️ I know sounds gross but mine usually go for 4 days and spotting on 5th. Sorry if that's TMI lol 😆

So the second AF starts for you its immediately red?

I had my endo excised, so not sure I understand why I'm not getting red blood straight away. Will have to email my doctor cos I was led to believe endo causes brownish blood at beginning of AF..

@nightowlsurprise was informative for me too - mine was a mix of brown/red

P.s. Calling it AF a rainbow is a bit over the top

Mine varies, it can be a pink/orange tinge spotting to bright blood on shorter normal cycles. But on longer cycles I may get chocolate sludge like spotting to dark heavy clotting.
