Thank you. I have booked my first initial consult with their GP at primary. Just for blood tests and scans. I have PCOS so hopefully all goes well

@meelou we have male factor and my low amh/old eggs. I was prescribed Luveris to improve egg quality and it worked as I actually got a couple to freeze. So they will personalise. A friend was also on DHEA which is far from a textbook cycle. There is a Primary IVF thread which you should jump on. Its for Bris/Syd/Melb clinics. Im not on there now as we have finished ttc. I think its experiences with Primary IVF. My cycles we around $200 a cycle. Infertility does not discriminate, so it's good to have a cheaper option that lessens the blow to hip pocket and in turn lessening stress.

    Best wishes..

Thank you Billie. I'll have a look for the thread. We have been trying and getting no where so I'm looking forward to getting into that first appointment.

Hi there! We are also going through the bulk bill side of Life Fertility at Spring Hill. We are yet to get our bfp but our experience there has been great! Yes it's busy, they have a lot of patients and it's a set protocol etc but I don't need a red carpet rolled out for me so it's all good lol.

My appointments always run on time, I never have to sit a cycle out because they can't fit me in and it is incredibly cheap. We've spent just under $2K so far and have done egg retrieval and 3 frozen embryo transfers, so that's awesome!

@Mummyowl - good luck for this cycle! How many days post are you? I just had my third FET yesterday so I'm all of 1dp lol. The wait is painful hey.

My eggs are very precious (I have low egg count), so I wouldn't want to risk that.

I have also heard some low cost clinics give small dosages to save on costs - although my clinic wasn't like that. You may only need smaller dosages though, so it might not be an issue for you. I have a friend that used The Fertility Centre in Brisbane - they are low cost and she was happy with them. However they do not treat "complex" issues such as donor eggs/sperm, so it depends on your fertility issues.
Do you mind me asking what clinic you used?

Sure. it is Westmead Fertility Clinic. They were quite a busy clinic, but it wasn't an issue for me.
