My stupid dogs have all eaten in the past:
    Used tissues
Dirty knickers (only mine though - ewwww)
    Horse poo
Human poo (if one of the kids is naughty and does one in the backyard - double ewwww)
Horny Goat Weed tablets (don't even ask)
A 3kg bag of party mix (that one required a vet trip and induced vomiting)

@GingerKat, don't know what made me laugh more, the Horny Goat Weed or the 3kg of party mix!

my dog used to eat everything. shoes, furniture, charcoal for the barbecue ... everything.

Eventually he grew out of chewing things up ... but it took a long time.

With all these replies, I'm thankful that our dog isn't the only disgusting one around.

I was actually rehearsing what I'd say to the vet to explain the situation.

My cat eats any kind of fluff off the floor, licks the kids school bags, any underpants left on the floor (clean or otherwise), pinched raw chicken off the kitchen bench (paid for that with a lot of vomit), eats foam, balloon ribbons - nab we've pulled some stuff out of the stupid cats mouth

The most memorable X-ray was the rotti that lived next door to the golf course - 11 gold balls! Thankfully we got them before the acid had got down to the lead core.

We had a repeat customer that ate underwear. Lots of surgery for that one.

Our dog love chicken poo . I don't think she's eaten other weird things, but will eat the poo if the chickens do it on the verandah, but not so much in the yard. She also love sticks.

My old dog though ate everything from rat bait (luckily she survived after treatment!) to ripping up the Lino on the floor.

Kitty litter and cat poo (or her own poo when I fed her the new cat food the cats didn't like) (she has also vomited up kitty litter on the white carpet in the lounge), shoes, crayons, a door, a couch arm. Grossest was the carpet incident, most life threatening was the shoe (a rubber thong).
