    Thanks, yes the iron issue is one we have been dealing with for a couple yrs now with no significant improvement yet. I think an infusion will be on the cards....The Dr's are always encouraging her to continue eating red meat + vit C, rather than the non-haem iron from plants as it's uptake is so much better...oh well...

    My SIL has such low iron that she has to get iron infusions twice a year - the Dr just keeps saying to up her red meat intake, she's married to a butcher and they own a butcher shop, she couldn't eat more red meat if she tried but it makes absolutely no difference!
