Default Help with 7 week scan interpretation

I am hoping someone can help me out here.

I had my follow up scan today (7weeks) and it didn't go so well. Doctor at the scan place said it wasn't looking good and to prepare for a miscarriage soon.

Gestational age of sac - 7 weeks - bang on

Heart rate - 125 which is in normal range? They said it was slow?

Embryo CRL measuring 6weeks (measured 5w2d two weeks ago) but I don't think she measured it properly today (seems to be missing the head? However not sure where the yolk sac is) when I look at the image.

I am over in the Uk at the moment @nattie84 on holiday and have been paying for private scans. They do things very different over here and at this stage are not too concerned on the sctual heart rate and dont measure it using a doppler as long as it it is strong all is good. I have measured begind too with my twins and thst doesn't concern them either even though they know its an ivf pregnancy and my dates are exact they said over here they would still put dates backwards if they felt it necessary. I am not sure if one system is right over the other but thought I would inform you. Hope all works out ok and @mummymaybe can help. Are you under an obstetrician for care yet who can answer your questions?

Thanks for your message. I am seeing the OB tomorrow so hopefully he will be more optimistic. I hope there is a possibility that maybe there is two in there (as my scans look a little funny) and I guess they might not grow as fast since they may be sharing the nutrients or something? Grasping at straws I know but I'm just so over this.

I'm not a sonographer but have worked in imaging. The bit you are talking about re head I'm pretty sure is the yolk sac.

I have been following your posts and have my fingers crossed for a positive outcome for you

Thanks I did suspect that.. I think the larger circles may be the amniotic sac?IMG_1493194138.542379.jpg

I had to go back and have a look at mine and mine didn't have the second ring around it like yours. Maybe it is all a case of wrong position in etx and it will all work out okay. I guess a positive note is the fact there has been some progression along with the development of a HB? I guess it's the long wait for another scan in a week or so?

Also at this size by not positioning the markers perfectly I it can make all the difference for measurements. If they didn't/couldn't zoom in to place markers perfectly for measurement then they could be out a little
