Only my family are allowed to make me tea because everyone else puts milk in it despite me asking for no milk lol. I can't drink it then and then I feel bad.

Same! I don't drink milk at all, never have. I always ask for black tea with a bit of cold water in it and people just can't seem to comprehend it. So I usually just politely decline when offered.

I'll drink it, if it's the first time they have made me tea... and then never again.

I'm so paranoid I'll stuff up other people's tea that I ask 101 questions to ensure that they will enjoy it!

I always ask black tea (no milk) people if they want me to add a little cold water to it, as my Dad doesn't drink milk so that's what I've always done, but the funny looks I've been given from other people! Very glad to hear it's not a weird phenomenon! Lol

You just can't drink black tea without cold water in it, you'd either scald your mouth or have to wait 20 mins for it to cool down. So glad there are other logical people out there!

When I drink herbal tea, obviously it's without milk, and here I was thinking I was a genius for adding a dash of cold water so I can drink it straight away seems I'm not the one who thought of that trick

So true! Im another non-milk drinker so if I want to drink straight away I always added a bit of cold water to bring the temp down. To my amazement DH made me a cup of tea last weekend (have only just got back into tea so he's never made me one before) and he knows I have no milk so he asked if I wanted a bit of cold water added. What a gem
