    Hope its all good @mish239

    I am definitely excited for the days where the bump looks like a bump and not that I ate too much over Easter! Such an awkward phase!

    Question have any of the part timers looked into the paid parental leave? I know what I would get paid if I worked full time but the website doesnt explain if the payment is pro rata?

    Just found this from my prego diary from DS's pregnancy. Gives me hope that maybe in 6 weeks time Ill feel something!

    18 weeks 3 days

    On a positive note I felt JJ move from the outside! I ate some ice cream and he went nuts! Strongest kicks and movements ever. I put my hand on my tummy for the hell of it and a couple of times I could feel pressure on my hand.

    Good luck @mish239 hope the check up was ok.
    @Wishnhope good question about paid parental leave. Was planning on looking into that after Term 2 finishes. Hopefully someone has some ideas about it.
    Good to know you felt baby move around then. I'm not getting consistent kicks and it does worry me. Hopefully I get some more kicks soon.

    Hi all thanks for your concern! Everything is good, I've seen my little one kicking around inside me.

    They also checked to ensure I wasn't in pre labour and all is good. Think maybe I've just been over doing it lately and I need to slow down and also could be my fibroid pressing on things so I still have pain but I'm a lot more relieved now as I know bubs is good

    Glad all is well @mish239!
    @Wishnhope that's an interesting question, I thought everyone got the same regardless of current hours wage!

    Afm, went to Kmart today to check out the maternity bras (thanks for the recommendation) cause I'm not loving the ones I had last time and I'm almost too big for current bras. Anyway the smallest they had was a DD! (I'm a 12C so miles off). I did however find one that is virtually the same but not technically maternity, it was on sale and soooo soft and comfy!

    Has anyone used a body pillow? Do you recommend? Thinking of buying one on the way home from work today.

    @mish239 they work well for some and not great for others. I had one last time. Thinking about a belly bean this time. Looks way more comfortable.

    This is what I am sending to my parents in QLD and giving the inlaws as our announcement. Thoughts?

    @Wishnhope cool idea!
    @mish239 I used the belly bean last time and I'm using it again now. Smaller than body pillows and pretty comfy. It was well worth it and I use it every night.
