Carrying DS is definitely a mission these days, he's been clingy too @Willowglen and asking to be picked up a lot lately and Im just not capable! I feel so bad saying sorry buddy mummy cant
@lotsathoughts the stairs at work get me, two story building and any time after 2pm if I have to go up Im puffed!
@mish239 the feeling for me varies like Bubble and Willowglen mentioned. I generally ignore the pulsing feeling as Im always convinced its just my own heart beating but getting a fluttering like there is a humming bird in there or something!

Some not so great news for us today... Anatomy scan was all looking great, then they detected cysts on either side of Squeak's neck, underneath her chin.

Initial thoughts are leaning toward cystic hygroma. In about 50% of cases there's a chromosomal abnormality which is the cause, so I'm having an amniocentesis tomorrow to check that out. Since there were no other issues detected on the scan and our Harmony test was all low risk we're hoping to be in the lucky half where it's an isolated issue with the lymphatic system. I'm also going to see a specialist on Tuesday for additional scans, MRI. This will give us more information about the masses and hopefully a clear diagnosis so we know what we're dealing with and can make a plan from there.

Best case scenario is no chromosomal issues, they don't grow too much before birth and she'll have surgery in her early days. Worst case is that the cysts inhibit her ability to swallow and fluid collects elsewhere in her body and she doesn't survive, or they indicate much larger issues at play and we may need to consider late termination.

I'm in shock, numb, angry, and so scared for our little girl. I'm not really worried about what I need to go through, I just want her to be ok. I can't believe we've made it through this far only to potentially have to say goodbye.

Oh @bubbletrouble this post makes me want to cry. I can't imagine how horrible that would have felt after getting through the Harmony test and all the other scans with low risk results. I really, really hope your little girl will be ok. Fingers crossed for the best possible outcome and no chromosomal abnormalities. Look after yourself in the stressful wait xxx
