Hi all I've been a bit MIA lately with everything going on but just reading thru to catch up on everything.

I have a reasonable bump now at 16 +6 weeks but weighed myself last night and I'm about 800g less than when I got pregnant. Is that ok?? I was over weight to start with so I think it's a good thing my weight hasn't gone up but not sure.

As for a baby shower I haven't really thought about it but I don't think I will do one. I'm not one for being the center of attention and really like to stay in the background and not sure I can be bothered organizing it and don't think anyone else would as all my friends are busy with their own kids.

I keep hinting to DH that I'm a bit worn out at the moment and a pregnant massage would be amazing but he isn't getting the hint @Zimbaby are you north or south of the river here in Perth? I think there is a few of us Perth girls on here. We might have to organize a play date when we have our bubs

I had a wonderful shower first time but it was just people from work and a lady I work with threw it for me. I hadn't thought about it but most people knew my struggles with infertility and she especially was really happy for me and really wanted to do it. I'm the same as @Zimbaby and don't have a lot of close friends or family here so don't think anyone would throw me one this time. I haven't decided yet but if anything I will just have a meal/tea out somewhere and invite people rather than an actual shower.

    Default IVF Babies due Sep/Oct/Nov 2017 #2

@mish239 I'm south of the river in Piara Waters. I'm going to Cape Town for most of May and we're looking to potentially move back to Como when we get back. It's really beautiful here, but I miss being so central.

    Where are you?

Not entirely sure, but I think I'm starting to feel Squeak move! 14+4 and if I'm laying or sitting really still I can feel these really subtle "belly flip" movements low down. It's a bit like what your tummy does on a rollercoaster but below my belly button, so different to the "swimming squid" feeling I got with DD.

That's so exciting @bubbletrouble. I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and I haven't felt movement yet. I'm hanging for my next scan which is still 2 1/2 weeks away as I haven't seen bub for ages and I haven't put on any weight and I've been so busy and stressed with moving house and having visitors that I haven't been relaxing at all and doing way to much and I just hope all is ok!

Thank you! Went well today and even discussed induction but don't want to get ahead of myself. Still have the 20 week scan to get through.

It went well. Penguin is still with us and jiggling around. Starting to look like a baby which is exciting! Feeling much more relaxed after todays scan.
12 weeks scan is booked for 2nd May
