    Awesome pics @amywillo86!

Question girls what's the rules for hair dying when pregnant. I didn't do it whilst doing IVF but my hair is now looking horrible, blonde and brown with grey haha and I want to know if I can get it done or do I just chop it off to get rid of the blonde ends and go grey gracefully!!!

Love the pics @amywillo86! 3D scans are so cool.
@mish239 its personal preference I think. I get it done every few months (i go darker not lighter) and I know 2 hair dressers personally and both advised its perfectly fine depending on the technic and chemicals used. Might be worth asking your hair dresser.

@mish239 it's a personal choice about hair dye. There's limited evidence around but a lot of women do continue to dye their hair. I did with DD after the first trimester to avoid the most vulnerable period of their development.

Just keep in mind that you might be more sensitive to the smell of the dye and contact on your skin, so try using a dye with no ammonia and do the recommended patch test to check for any potential reaction. Maybe time to go back to brunette?

    Gorgeous pics @amywillo86!
@mish239 I agree with others in that it is personal choice and there's not a lot of evidence to support it being bad for Bub. I didn't dye my hair last time but have a lot more greys this time so I will. I also have waited until after first trimester just because I feel better about it. I know my hairdresser says it's fine. I'm going to get foils because I think the risk would be even less with them.

@mish239 - I foiled my hair (blonde) and my hairdresser said it was fine. As long as its in a well ventilated room. I waited until the 3 month mark just in case. Only caution was that hair can react differently to dye when pregnant. It can go lighter quicker than normal, or the colour may not be quite the same. Just let your hairdresser know so they can keep an eye on it, and possibly do a patch test. I didn't have an issue with that.

Thanks ladies @bubbletrouble I would be happy to go back to brunette but the blonde hides the greys better

I think I will try holding off and see how I go. Might be a treat I give myself once bubs is born!

I asked both my obs and was told colouring both lightening and darkening is perfectly fine 😊 just make sure your in a ventilated area and tell your hairdresser 😊

Yesterday my throat felt like i had a cut in it or an ulcer and today I've woken up with a terrible sore throat 😥 does anyone know if there's anything safe i can take?
