Unhappy Blighted Ovum. I just cant decide what to do. Please help me decide.

Okay I had an ultrasound yesterday. Im 9 weeks, but there is a sac and no baby in it. The Ultrasound lady said it looks like a blighted ovum. I'm miscarrying at the moment, but nothing bad, just like AF. I'm nervous because I know it gets worse. I've read all the sticky threads and about Ashermans syndrome etc and the horror stories... So now I cant decide whether or not to wait it out for things to just happen naturally or risk the D&C.

My situation has a few problems though....
-I have had a few kids and I have uterine atony, meaning a slack uterus that doesnt contract well.
-I am apparently at 'high' risk of haemorrhage although I havent had one before, but I've always been in hospital and had drugs to make my uterus contract post birth. Im not sure whether this is relevant to a miscarriage.
-I cant get into my GP to ask advice and he is the only one qualified to advise being in a small country town where most of the doctors speak English as a second language and were trained overseas, none of them in obstetrics.
-My GP told me after having my last child that it "would be unwise" for me to have more children. He didnt elaborate, but I have a lot of risk factors now being in my 40s and having had 2 c-sections (the limit is 3 here before they send you to Melbourne), and uterine atony, and also Im a bit overweight, have had a previous twin pregnancy, so he is going to be majorly angry at me for getting pregnant again against his advice.

My coping mechanism in general is usually AVOIDANCE.... so at the moment I am just sitting and stressing and sort of panicking about what the best option is to do.
The drug option sounds horrid and I'm at risk of uterine rupture, the DC option sounds safer medically BUT now I'm worried about Ashermans syndrome, the waiting it out also has risks and I am stressed that it will all happen on the school run or at Coles, or I will haemorrhage and literally die.

I know it seems silly to ask online but living in a small town, everyone knows everyone and I just dont want everyone to know. Also my GP's wife runs the practice and her kids go to school with mine and she is a freaking gossip.

    Im just so stressed.

No advise but just wanted to send you a hug! I had a D&C following IVF miscarriage and it went fine. I think the most important thing is that an experienced dr does it.

Thanks, I tried Nurse-on-Call and they were at a bit of a loss. I have left messages for my doctor though, so hopefully he will get back to me soon.

Can you go to a practice in another town even if it means a bit of drive? I had complication following a d&c last year with no previous history. It sounds like your history is complicated enough to warrant a trip to a specialist.
