    Default PCOS and fertility help

I have PCOS and been ttc for 10 months now naturally. I know I may need to go down the IVF track but heard about Clomid tablets? Do you get them from the IVF place before they recommend IVF?
I am making an appointment for a consultation with Primary IVF next month. Newbie to all this and would love guidance or if anyone has PCOS and had a baby I'd love to know the steps you took to get there.

Following for support. Just first month for TTC for my husband and I. I also have PCOS and seem to have irregular cycles. Concern about the journey ahead for us, but will remain positive.

My cycles are between 28 days and 64 days. Pretty irregular and not sure if I'm even ovulating each cycle. We are definitely ready for external help now. Good luck

@meelou that is a big jump in cycle lengths. For me I think I got to confident and too excited too early that my cycle was going well after getting the mirena removed. I've been reading about Evening Primrose Oil and Vitex. Evening primrose oil to help cervical mucus and Vitex for regulating cycles. Also read about grapefuit juice and flaxseed oil. Have a look into it all. The more natural way before clomid etc. If you do get evening primrose oil from what I've read is that you can only take them from day 1 of your cycle (when you get your period) till ovulation date.

Have a look into it all

That all sounds great but I never know when I ovulate, if I ovulate at all. I've tried the temp thing and keeping an eye on mucus. I'll do some more research though, won't hurt to try new things ☺

@meelou I use the app KindaraI have learnt so much the last few months about my body, cycle and just general knowledge of how it all works. I temp every morning but you have to make sure you use a Basal Body Temperature thermometer. Also too buy yourself some cheap ovulation tests off ebay. Much cheaper and you're not spending heaps of money on the chemist ones. With temping you'll know when you ovulate when your temp drops down and then rises and stays high until your period starts. If you do this for a few months you might be able to guess a estimated period of time where you're fertile. Kindara app suggests when they thing your period will come, as well as ovulation. Not totally right though as Im now 5 days late (not pregnant).

    All experimental!

Ugh. Day 48 with this cycle and no period yet. Fingers crossed it's because I'm pregnant but I'm 99% sure it's just my stupid PCOS random cycle.
