@AdornedWithCats thank you!! I really hope the HCG levels rise. Will head back for a proper date scan in 3 weeks time.

    Just a quick update.
Suffice to say I am miscarrying this bub. Bleeding has amped up to bright red, clotty and now cramping since lunch time.
Im tempted to see the Dr sooner but I'm not sure what he could do other than say I'm miscarrying the baby and just let it happen.
I think I will wait until my scheduled appointment on Wednesday than ask for an U/S referral to make sure all is gone.
    Damn this sucks.

Natural miscarriage last week on the 20th April. Placenta and gestational sac passed that night. Bleeding afterwards for 5 days (medium period like flow) and then spotting for one day and just 8 days after passing the placenta and gestational sac my HCG is down to less than 2.
I am heartbroken we lost our baby but I am so amazed at what our bodies are capable of.
Given the all clear from my Dr so we are good to start TTC again.
Fingers crossed we catch on with the 'super fertile after miscarriage' rumors I've been reading about.
