Default Genesyte by Genea: waste of money, go harmony

I've now managed to have both of these and can I say the Harmony is a far better bet. Genesyte is $445 for LITERALLY just a blood test. No scan for viability, no conversation with a doctor before hand - it's just pathology.
Harmony by comparison is now apparently turning their results around in the same amount of time but you get a scan and a draft too.

    Don't go for Genesyte.

    Welcome back @ScubaGal

I had the harmony about 18 weeks ago and it was just a blood test no imagaing or consult. The turn around was very quick I think 3 or 4 business days.

    Thanks @mummymaybe

I think it depends on where you go. I had it previously and there was a consult and a viability scan.

Hi ladies. Are these tests different to NIPT? I've got mine in nearly 3 weeks. Do you know how long those results take?

Harmony was only a blood test when I had it too. The Harmony test was at 10 weeks (blood test) then I had the usual scan at 13 weeks. I've never heard of them doing a scan together with the blood test for Harmony.
