    Hi ladies, on our first ever cycle.. told today have got 4 frozen day 5s and one frozen day 6. I think that might be pretty good/lucky from what I read? Couldn't have a fresh one as was over stimulated. Anyone know how it works now, will they try to implant one per month and hope one sticks?

    @James11

    Good luck for your first cycle! ๐Ÿ˜€ I'm doing my first frozen embryo transfer and as far as I know as long as you can afford a frozen embryo every month they can just do them back to back. You're very lucky to have so many embies to work with ๐Ÿ˜€

    @Mumma2be13 Maybe you just have a stronger side? Something to ask at your next appointment? They might tell you it's normal to have more on one side... You've had some on the left in past cycles, right? Maybe you had some on the left that just weren't big enough to mention...?

    @James11 Wow! Five frozen is great. Have you had an appointment about your first FET yet? In my first round of IVF I had one fresh transfer in the August and then had to wait a full cycle to do the frozen ones but they could be back to back (November and December). I guess there's no reason why you can't do one a month... Hopefully you won't have to! ๐Ÿ˜Š Having said that, after my three didn't work, they wanted to do tests before starting again.

    @cag14 So you're going ahead with the Bondi Protocol? I really hope it works for you. When do you start?

    Hi ladies, sorry I dropped off the face of the earth. Took a little break whilst waiting for FET.
    So my update, I got a few embryos that got to blastocyst and are normal on pgs - this was at the end of March. Glad that they got to that point! Anyway FS wanted me to have a freeze all cycle and at least one month break due to my risk of ohss. Unfortunately we couldn't transfer in may due to a pre planned wedding we had to attend interstate. So, FET will be with this next cycle.... early June i suspect.
    How r u all doing?

    I realise there's a few names I haven't seen before.
    My background 31, ttc first child about 21 months. Pcos but nil other issues. Tried 2x clomid and 2x letrozole oi without effect. I seem to ovulate so not sure why it's not sticking. Decided to skip iui and move to ivf, so had first EPU in March of this year. Now waiting for FET as part of a natural cycle. I'm just really nervous about a potential failed transfer, not sure how I'll cope. Trying to put it out of my mind for now.
    Mother's Day was tough for me. Almost all my friends / acquaint or colleagues who are married or in long term relationships are pregnant or have had one child.
    I wish you all the best, and thanks for the support you all bring

    Hey guys tried posting in another thread but I think there further along... background on me... my partner has azooapermia but we have his stuff frozen so only IVF for us. I also have a blood clotting factor so pretty much I am terrible pregnant... I have a 10 and half month old who was born 6 weeks early but she was suppose to be 28/29 weeks born so held off... she was first IVF cycle but only got two 5 day embryos one is our bub and one I transferred last month which took but the IVF clinic didn't put me on clexane as we implanted which I requested so my blood clotting disorder took over and rejected the embryo. So straight into another cycle and I'm day 7... yesterday's scan showed 7 14mm plus follicles so that's good news... should have egg pick up next week... also have my IVF clinic and OB differing I opinions on how much clexane I'm going to be on... I can't help but feel IVF is a money thing while my OB a high risk specialist knows me my issues and why he wants it... so off to the GP today as she also specialized in women's health for her opinion! It's so annoying because they all keep forgetting I could clot and it could cause alot worse than losing a baby I could have a major health problem! Anyways Hi haha hope your all going along smoothly x

    @cag14 Good luck!

    @morganleroy - Mother's Day (and every pregnancy announcement) can be a challenge. I found it easier to focus on my Mum - even though she's a long way away, we are in touch all the time and I'm lucky to have her. As for coping with a failed transfer, I'm really not sure what to say. I've had six. It doesn't get easier. It just gets different. I'm currently in the TWW and the only thing I can do is prepare myself for both possibilities. I will test on a day my partner and I both have off work allowing us to support each other or celebrate together. We do that every time now after a "leaving work crying" incident. Fingers crossed for you

    @ttc1981 - Wow the clotting sounds scary. We are the only ones with all the info about us... I seem to remind doctors of things all the time too. They're only human, I guess, but it can be very frustrating. Good luck with the egg pick up next week.

    @ToBeThree, thanks for sharing your experiences. Sorry about your failed transfers, I truly hope this is the one for you. Your plan about testing on a day off from work is a good idea.
    Re Mother's Day, yes I tried to focus on my mum as much as possible. She was overseas but that's what i did! It's always tricky but we do our best!

    The embryologist called this morning with an update...not great news sadly. Of the 4 embies, 1 is very slow (and pretty much a write off), 1 is a little behind but severely fragmented and 2 are on time but highly fragmented.

    The lady said they were not good quality embryos which was a kick in the guts & part of me can't even see the point in transferring (just a temporary feeling!). I am going to speak with my RE today to find out what she thinks, whether we risk waiting till day 5 or try transferring day 3/4.

    Either way feeling deflated after the call, and feel more money wasted! I realise its not over yet, but just need to prepare for another write off. Fertility issues seriously suck
