    Default Single bed, double Doona??

Dd has moved into a single bed, no railing. She has a single doona but nearly every night she is coming down to us to tell us her doona has come off. We've tried tucking it in at the end and telling her to pull it back up if it falls off but ultimately we're getting up at least once a night to put it back on. She's 4.
Those that have a preschooler in a single bed what bedding do you use?
I've suggested to DH that we buy a double doona so it can be tucked in all the way round but he thinks that's over the top! 😒
We're not keen to put a safety railing on the bed because when we're away she sleeps in a bed and we prefer she's used to it.

We use a double doona for DS (he's 5) on his single bed. It still moves around a bit but it's big enough to always cover him. My only tip would be to find a light one (as in weight) as the first one we got was quite heavy and it was too hard for him to move it around.

    Best wishes!

We have a double bed for DS and use a queen doona. If we had a single I would use a double. Also, can the bed ve put next to a wall? You can tuck one whole side on the wall side.

I always go up a size for doonas.
Kids are in singles and have double doonas.
We are in a queen and have a king doona.

King single with dbl doona here. We tuck it in on one side and have that side against the wall. He still doesn't really sleep under it, but it's there 😄

On advice from my mother, our kids have always had a doona bigger than their bed. My boys, who are in singles, have doubles etc. it works really well. I don't think it's excessive at all!

Same as everyone else always size up. We use kings in queen beds and super king on a king. So for a single bed yes a double doona.

I've never done this - DD happily sleeps with a single doona as did I when I was a kid...but I'm just about to buy a king doona for our queen bed as I'm sick of DH whingeing about me stealing the covers
