None. But DS got loads that I have absolutely no intention of him eating. It was all about the fun of the hunt. It's not like he can count, so I can get away with it!

My hubby and I got each other nothing as we knew the kids would get heaps. I specifically asked my family to buy one small thing for the kids. Despite this, each child ended up with:

    1 x Humpty Dumpty egg
2 x Freddo frog packs (one big egg and several frogs) - my FIL bought one, my brother got the kids the same pack
1 x bag of smartie eggs
1 x kinder surprise small bunnies
    2 x Lindt bunnies
    1 x Lindt egg
    1 x Aldi bunny
Masses of hunting eggs and other bags of random eggs

So multiply this list by 3 children and I've had to clear an entire shelf in my pantry just to house it all.

It's an absurd amount. No normal child could ever eat it all, and mine won't as I'll have to throw most of it out I think. We only bought the kids the Aldi bunny and colouring books, the rest is from my crazy family (both mine and the in-laws) - they cannot help themselves.

so I ask DD if she wanted an easter egg or a toy - and she picked a toy. In fact she picked out a build a bear teddy which she loved

I also ask my family not to buy her too much chocolate - which to my amazement they mostly complied

    so - for me
3 large bunnies, 1 small bunny, 1 large egg and quite a lot of small eggs

    DD
    from me and DH
    - 1 build-a-bear rabbit teddy
    - 1 small gold Lindt bunny

    From Nonno
    - 1 small gold lindt bunny with 3 chocolate carrots
    - $20

    From Grandma
    - 1 small smarties pkt
    - 1 toy (not bought yet - she is staying with Grandma now)

    From Aunties (x3)
    - 1 jumper
    - 1 gorgeous basket with teddy bunny in it and a few small eggs
    - 1 humpty dumpty egg

she gets so much as she has so many who ALL buy her stuff - so it can be a struggle to get them to not overload her, yet still let them have the joy of giving her something and making her smile (all the other grandchildren/neices/nephews are adults so they like to spoil her)

But we have mostly reached a good compromise and they try hard to do what I ask provided I am reasonable

I got one bag of mini caramello eggs, which is enough for me because I'm eating sensibly at the moment.

I ate three this arvo with a coffee.

Default Ok - so be honest. How many easter eggs did you get?

None & I'm 33 weeks pregnant, what better excuse! But I'll have some soon as kids are in bed!

Oops I misread, I thought it was how many have I eaten... how many did I get... I still didn't get given any but that's cause DH is away & we'll do an easier hunt with the kids next week when he's home... I do have a stash that I bought myself though!

I didn't know it was a thing for adults to also get Easter eggs?! So hubby and I got none.

The kids each got a pair of gumboots, a handful of small eggs, some large eggs, 1 big bunny and 3 little Kinder bunnies. Plus a "hunt" with a handful more small eggs. That we divided between them (6 each I think).

My mum still buys me Easter chocolate - I kinda wish she wouldn't! I always buy DH a little something as he's a chocolate lover but I'm happy to get nothing in return!

It's not a thing in my family. No eggs for DH or me.
Kids got one Marvellous creations bunny each and 17 mini eggs each in an egg hunt from the EB (the youngest still believes in our house).

Then they got a small pack of mini oreo eggs each from family, 6 cadbury eggs each (the ones that come in the plastic egg carton type packets), and one single large egg each off another family member.
So, too much with the family additions.

Yeh those Cadbury ones in the plastic container. That's the "large" eggs mine got.
