    Default tubal ligation public hospitals

I am after some more information about getting my tubes tied through the public hospitals. My husband has been saying he will get the snip for two years and I know it will never happen. I'm more then happy to get my tubes tied, that's not even an issue AT ALL! haha

Where do I start? obviously the GP. Are they known to give the referral easily? I don't have a health care card, just medicare. Does that matter? Just any info would be so helpful Thank you

    Just giving this a bump.

Getting it through the public system is difficult. Depending on whether you get accepted at all there is a waiting list.

The first step is a GP anyway so I would start there.
