We have a cat, she is brown. She is named Brown Cat. It started as Garfield, and then when our eldest was small he just called her brown but couldn't say that properly so she was Grum Cat for a few years.

We had two ducks named Duck and Goose (courtesy of my then 4yo).

Our chickens are named after different dinosaurs

Gold! I started with old lady names, but also a few names from classic movies (Scarlett) and have moved into retro with Rizzo because she had a pink band. Courtesy of DD, we also have an Anna and Elsa.

I've been slack and still haven't banded my newbies, so they get called lots of things as they are all very similar, so hard to tell apart.

I had some "old lady" style named ones. Margot, Dorothy, Betty etc, but they have since moved on.

Our chooks are 'chook-chook' and 'henny-penny'. We have several with each name.

In the past we had Petunia, Henrietta and Roger-the-Rooster. Never just Roger. His full name had to be used. And I could never admit it but I named him after someone I worked with.

Our dog's real name is Fred but he now answers to Doodle-Dog.

I'm really sad about John Clarke dying. He was a funny man.
