Default *Spin off* What food did you love as a kid but can't stand now.

My mum used to make 'spaghetti bolognaise'. Essentially boil mince and chopped onion with water. Drain. Add tinned tomato soup and tinned spaghetti. I used to love it but just can't eat it now.

Ooo! Good spin off! I used to love frozen vegemite sandwiches. (Literally vegemite and butter on frozen bread). I thought it was delicious. I have now come to my senses.

Also, not quite the same as I probably still would love it if I could bring myself to eat it.

Brown sugar sandwiches. You lather on the butter really really thick, and cover in another thick layer of brown sugar and pass over it a few times with a butter knife to spread it, and so that they combine like a paste.
My father used to make them for me.

Did we grow up in the same house? Me exactly.
But I'll add hot dogs, McDonald's and KFC to the list. Loved them all as a kid...haven't eat any of those foods for over a decade (longer for the hot dogs).
Oh, and donuts. I used to have one every week. Haven't had one for 12 years.

Hmmmm I think everything I loved, I still love! There's stuff I won't eat because the idea of it is ridiculous (like milk arrowroot biscuits in warm milk for breakfast - wtf was my mum thinking ) but I think that's from a health perspective rather than not liking it.

Soft drinks and to an extent, chips. I still occasionally eat chips but don't really enjoy them.
