    Default Thin linings

Hi I have had thin linings mine was 7.2 with injectables this time on my third IUI. It shrunk to 6.7 after trigger shot. Just wondering if other people have experience with this or success with thin lining. My doctor says I can move on to IVF and work on lining. It just seems it doesn't respond to high estrogen levels as my estradiol was 1800. Thanks.

Ive read that not everyone responds to estradiol. What else have you tried?

I have tried everything natural exercise, pom juice, acupuncture, fertility yoga. I believe my lining was normal before I started medications during my normal cycle because I had an ultrasound and the lining was 8. Have you had any success?

I would go on your first lining of 7.2, the lining always changes post trigger so that measurement isn't so helpful.

I tried lots of things for my lining. The cycle I did with the best results was taking Vitamin E 1000u daily, daily pomegranate juice, one raspberry leaf tea a night plus accupuncture. That got me to an 8mm.

I was like you- on injectables I got an oestrogen of 2700 but still no effect on lining. The next drugs we were going to try were oestrogen pessaries and Viagra pessaries! See what your FS suggests and good luck.

I had lots of lining issues with my last 4 FET cycles- never got above 6mm. We tried lots of different a approaches- estradiol, trental, sandrena gel, nitrodur patches, viagra pessaries and puregon stims- nothing had any huge effect but was enough to finally get a BFP. I also did a bit of exercise to get the blood pumping and would lie on bed/floor with legs up against the wall - I'd be worried before every transfer that we were wasting our time and money with such a thin lining but my FS (Warren DeAmbrosis) always said you can get pregnant with 6mm and he was right

@softshellcrab did your pregnancy go well with the 6mm lining? Did you have many failed transfers with your 6mm lining? Sorry for all the questions- I'm doing a transfer on Thurs on a 6mm lining so looking for success stories!

@Hopeful137 yes my pregnancy was great- had a gorgeous baby boy full term (my dd was premature so we were elated to get to 38wks this time). Our first cycle for #2 was canceled due to thin lining (6mm), then second and third cycles only got to 6mm but went ahead with transfers but were BFN, then fourth cycle (which was still only 6mm lining) was our BFP. So definitely have hope!!

That's so fantastic to hear!! You've given me some hope 😊 Were your embryos PGS tested (chromosonal screening)?
