If you think you're likely to be awake anyway, definately worth calling a home Dr service to see if they can help.

Default Please reply - too much to deal with tonight

So sorry you have this while just having surgery you poor thing!

Home docs can do some injections for vomiting etc. so that sounds like a good idea.

Have you got any hydrolyte?? Dose DH up on that. Sometimes the Drs are unwilling to give anything to stop the vomiting however do you have any phenergan in the house? If so a dose of that works as an antiemetic also but can of course make him sleepy (It can prolong the gastro hence the reluctance to give any antiemetics but sometimes if you are desperate enough it's worth it).

Just also remember that if bubba had of had gastro the night you were in hospital, your DH would've had to cope without you. So it's ok to not take all this on yourself! Youve had surgery and you actually really need to stay off those legs a bit to help the swelling etc.

Huge hugs ! Endone works a lot better if taken with 2 panadol. This was the advice given to me in.casualty the other day when I was in there for pain management for my condition.

I hope today is a better day

I hope things have improved slightly today. A doctor sounds like a good idea, they should be able to give DH an injection to reduce/stop vomiting.

Have some panadol and nurofen if you aren't already it will help.

I'm sorry you've had such a rough few days.

I've only just seen this. How positively awful. How are things this morning? It's probably too late but the home dr goes give injections for vomiting - my DH has had one from them before. Massive hugs.

How awful for you I hope you managed to get through the night and have DH over gastro so you can focus on your recovery now! Understand families reluctance but in situations like this, you need that support. Hope they can help out more now!
