I've seen though before as I work in childcare. They seem to disappear over time.

Dd2 has 9 Cafe latte birthmarks. The pead also found them to be of concern as they are often link with heart problems. The one on her neck is dark like @WiseEnough child. The other vary to a faint stain.
    Dd2 has aspergers.
She is the only one of the 6 to have any.

I'd never heard of them before I had her! Probably because I'm white and they're an asian thing (DD is half). Hers have gotten lighter already and she's only 21 months.

Ah interesting! Well I got a text today to say the development team has received our referral and will call soon to book her in. Hopefully the process won't be too long.

Both my kids have red ones in the same place. On their upper necks...covered my hair.

Ds has a huge one on his thigh which is similar to one I had/have on my head. He also has strawberry marks on the back of his neck and he had one tiny one under his nose. I think I have a few others but not certain whether they are birthmarks or appeared later.

My 2 year old DD has a 20 cent piece size cafe au lait one in her lower leg. It looks really big on her!
