    Default Birth marks

How many birth marks do you or your children have?

Curious as it was brought up at our paed appointment. And I thought multiple were common.

Our paed said to us a few years back to keep an eye on DD3 due to her having 4 birth marks. She never got anymore thankfully! DD1 was born with 3 strawberries that faded and no other birth mark.

Did they just watch or did they do testing?

They watched, no testing. I believe they are concerned if there's more than 5 birth marks

DS1 has 1 on his upper hip

DS2 has 2, 1 on the top of his head and the other is on the upper part of his neck

His paed has never remarked about getting them checked.

Other hubbers on here in SA have also used him aswell

The counted 8 quickly. Was hard to see if there were more as she was kicking and screaming the place down. So at least 8.

My Dd has 2. Our paed was only worried with 5 or more.

Have they decided on some testing already? I know you must be stressed right now but remember it could also be perfectly normal for DD to have multiple birth marks too.
