    Default Mirena help

Hi I have had my Mirena in for 9-10 months.. I'm getting so over it. The constant spotting.. that just randomly starts and stops.. never know if you can go out with out a liner in. Will randomly start when exercising.. or any other time.... Is it worth giving it another couple of months?
I'm tempted to pull it out now and go back on the pill at least periods are either skipped or predictable..
Has anyone had similar that has magically resolved at 12 months? What was your experience?

I had the exact same issue when I had my mirena in. I can't tell you about the 12 month stage, I made it to 6 months then had it removed. Hope things ease up!

I hd the copper coil in after dd2 and gave it 6 months to settle in after that things got dramatically better. 10 months is a long time to be putting up with it and the spotting when exercising obviously means your uterus/cervix is irritated by it. I just had ds 3 months ago and got copper coil in again when he was 10 weeks. I had a pelvic infection, spotting, pain and just generally unwell so had it taken out within a few hours I felt good again. My body just totally rejected it this time which definitely happens it's a foreign object in your body after all.
