Default Primary School in St George area

Hi I'm living in Carlton and am looking for anyone's opinions and reviews on good primary schools for my kids to start kindergarten. Either public or catholic I'm happy to hear about both if they are a great school. Looking at the following:
    Carlton South public
    Sans Souci public
    St Finbars catholic sans Souci
But like to hear about any other catholic in the area or good public.
    Thanks in advance! 😊

Out of those I would choose Carlton south. If you are not in zone for Carlton south I'm not sure if they will accept you. I have a friend who pulled her kids out of st finbars.

Carlton is way too big IMO. Almost 1000 students and very limited green space.

Bexley North is impossible to get into unless you're in the area. Plus I know a couple of teachers there and it's not all Sunshine and lollipops.

My children go to a local public school in this vicinity (none of the ones mentioned) but I don't want to say publicly which one it is on here for privacy reasons. Probably not very desirable to outsiders but it's the best kept secret. There are people in this school's zone who try desperately to get into other schools and I don't know why. I'm a primary school teacher myself and could not be happier and neither could my kids. You could not ask for a better primary school in this area no matter what anyone else thinks. Great teachers and a great community.

I think the question is what do you want from a school... then choose a school based on what you want.
