@IrishAsh definitely recommend acupuncture. I didn't do it this cycle but have found it very relaxing in past cycles

My friend at work said to try listening to mindful meditation. I usually take ages to go asleep and i tried it last night and it was great. Slept great and barely remember listening to anything so ill be doing that to clear my head every night. Has anyone else tried it?
Or is anyone else doing acupuncture? I was thinking about it but is it too late to start now?
Hey @IrishAsh I've done Accupuncture for most rounds cause they say it is really good. A few sessions before EPU and then on the day of transfer. I never found it that relaxing myself to be honest. Maybe too many needles with the whole IVF thing but it is great for a lot of people. The lady I see is brilliant tho and cautious to try and keep me relaxed haha. I think if anything for me the Accupuncture has helped trigger the right areas for my embies to get good blood and ideal conditions. So yeh I say do it. There is jut so much positive stuff out there about it during the ivf process.

Or maybe I had sore boobs in the other cycles for other reasons not the pessaries (ovidrel boosters, pregnancy)? Any thoughts?
Hi @Hopeful137 I've done many rounds but only ever used crinone so can't really answer. I'd say though that the crinone is doing the job. I have tender boobs now with EPU tomorrow but can't recall if I have tender boobs during TWW post transfer....I wouldn't worry too much, Maybe check with the doc. Always the best answer I guess! Peace of mind

Sorry I haven't logged on for a while but it sounds like everyone is having success with retrievals and fertilisation rates. Congratulations and good luck to those that are now PUPO. I've done acupuncture too in some cycles.

I'm officially day 2 today so started my meds today and will likely be in for my first scan and bloods on Friday. I'm on a cocktail of meds for this FET. Gonal f, progynova, pregnyl trigger and pregnyl boosters as well as the utrogestan in place of pessaries 🤞

Default IVF/FET April & May chat

I cannot believe I've been so stupid! I only have 1 400mg progesterone pessary left and forgot tomorrow is a public holiday here in Brisbane. Would anyone be willing to sell me 3-5 to tide me over till Tuesday when I can get to my FS to get more? I can pick up anytime tomorrow.

And it's blood test/POAS day on Wednesday.
