@krispybacon I think it depends on the clinic but with mine the embryologists go in on most public holidays so they may still be able to call you on Monday. If not that will be a very stressful wait
Happy to hear your follicles are looking good @IrishAsh - let's hope they are 3 lovely high quality eggs.

They should definitely phone you at some point over the weekend @krispybacon. Just make sure you answer because you often can't return the call since the office is officially closed. Best of luck @IrishAsh

AFM I just got home and am feeling delicate and sore! They got 14 eggs so I am beyond shocked! The embryologist said he thinks maybe 10 will be mature and able to be fertilised so that would be amazing

@Hopeful137 that is great, 14 eggs is awesome!! Can't wait to hear how many fertilise tomorrow now all you need to do is take it easy and look after your poor ovaries.

@Hopefuly137 that's brilliant! 14 is an awesome number, so keeping fingers crossed for you.

Had my transfer on Friday, but it hadn't gone smoothly. We only have 2 frozen embryos and decided to thaw one for transfer. When we arrived at 10:30am, the scientist came out to tell us it hadn't thawed and asked if we would like to thaw the other one. It wouldn't have the full 4 hours for them to see if there's any activity, but they'd be able to tell if it survived the thaw in about 1-1.5hours. We've never had an embryo not survive a thaw before, so it was nerve wrecking waiting. It did survive and was graded a 3BB.

And while I was on the table, my FS said my cervix was really sensitive (I've had 2 cone biopsies in 2011 and pessaries don't help), so to expect some bleeding. Unfortunately inserting pessaries rectally gives me diarrhea - anyone gets this too?

Thanks ladies. Ahh so sore, glad tomorrow is a public holiday and I can chill on the couch a bit longer!

Aw @nightchild80 best of luck to you. I'm so sorry the other one didn't thaw properly. I have IBS and my bowels have been all over the place since starting IVF haha. All I can say is, diarrhea is sooo much better than constipation! First thing I did when I got home today- took two types of laxatives to try and beat the anaesthetic!
