Hi I've had 8 ECs and you definitely go under and may feel discomfort when u waken. The nurses are there keeping an eye on u and will see what u wake and will ask how u are and offer panadene or similar if feeling any discomfort. My biggist issue is usually thirst and hunger haha after fasting before going in

Hi @LaylaMac, just completed my first cycle! I also had general anaesthetics. Was feeling normal immediately after without pain meds. It did get a little uncomfortable later in the day but nothing a hot water bottle didn't fix

    Default 2nd ICSI cycle

Hi everyone. Hoping to jump in on this. Im on day 5 of injections 300 gonal f. I've low AMH and DH has MFI. I did ICSI over 2 years ago and took a longer break than first expected. TTC over 4yrs now. First cycle 3 eggs 2 fertilised 1 dropped off and the last one put back in at 3 days. BFN.
I have a scan and BT monday to see how this cycle is going. There could be a chance of it being cancelled because the clinic closes for weekends and public holidays. Anyone else had that trouble? This time we went with a low cost clinic, not sure it was the right choice yet. They also do the EPU awake with just a bit of gas so not sure how that'll go.
Good luck everyone with the journey. @nettz84 any results this morning?

Welcome @IrishAsh! I hope your cycle isn't cancelled, surely they can just push you to Monday if needed? I reckon if you gave access to a low cost clinic, then why not? Hope your scan Monday goes well

@nettz84 they are hoping ill be ready for EPU friday but if not then as they are closed monday and only do EPU mon, weds and fri that the Wednesday might be too late. I should know Monday but would be a shame to have to cancel because of the clinic and not because of how im responding. The reason i decided to give the clinic a go is because this cycle was supposed to be fully bulk billed. Just $155 for the meds. Thats only if they do the EPU before May.

Welcome @IrishAsh! That's a bit ridiculous that it could be cancelled because of them but I suppose if it's bulk billed you can't make a massive fuss to them about. Best of luck, I hope it works out!
