@Hopeful137 glad to hear they're still growing. And your lining sounds great too!

Still waiting for my blood results @Ashe87

I had a missed call from an anaesthatist asking me to phone back about Monday- but the clinic haven't told me my day for EPU so I tried phoning them and am waiting on a call back.

I am really worried that EPU on Monday will be too early so I think I should ask them to hold of til Wednesday but I don't know how that will go down...what do you ladies think?

My previous two fresh cycles have had last u/s on Friday and EPU on Monday- same as this one might be. 1st cycle I had 11 follicles above 1.5 on last u/s (most above 2) resulting in 10 eggs collected. 2nd cycle I had 8 follicles above 1.5 on last u/s (most around 1.6-1.9) and 6 collected. I currently have 6 between 1.5 and 1.9 and none above 2. Given my previous cycles I feel like this may only give me 3-4 eggs which would be devastating given I know I have 9 between 1 and 1.4 that just need more time to grow. What do you ladies think? Push for more growing time?!

@Hopeful137 I would push for the extra time - or at least seek an explanation of why they think Monday is better than Wednesday.

Thanks @nettz84 that's a good way of approaching it. It's stupid given we pay so much, but I always feel anxious asking the nurses for what I want or questioning them. All in the wording!

@Hopeful 137 I agree with @nettz84 I would be asking why they think Monday over Wednesday?
I understand there is a balance and it's a fine line, however, I think most of us want the most amount of eggs collected to give us the best opportunity in a successful outcome..

Just phoned the clinic then and they said they were planning for it to be Monday. I questioned why and she said their protocol is to trigger when they have 2 above 1.7. I gave her some history on my previous 2 cycles (different clinic) so she said she would phone the dr and ask what he thinks. I've asked whether we can push it to Wed and her first question was- how many eggs are you wanting to collect? Umm how about as many as possible without overstimulating!

@Hopeful137 yes exactly!! Isn't that the point? Haha.. don't want to end up sick in emergency but the aim is for the most amount of eggs! That's good though she is consulting the FS. Let us know what happens!
