Woohoo. So very excited for you @nettz84 & @Hopeful137!!

🤞 for a BFP @Ivfnewbie. Hope the TWW doesn't drive you too crazy lol!

Absolutely itching to get started! Picked up my meds today and have had to confiscate a bigger section of the fridge. My goodness!

Also had some acupuncture today. Thought I'd try the lot for our very first cycle. I only usually have AF for ~2days so she said it may help improve my lining. We'll see I guess. None the less it was relaxing.

Welcome to all the group newcomers x

Thanks @Freespirit101 haha I know exactly what you mean about fridge space! We used to have a little 260L fridge/freezer and went and bought a bigger one over the weekend. We needed one anyway because storing food was always a struggle but the meds pushed me over the edge 😂

Also new tip for reducing injection pain- flick the spot a couple of times first. Hubby did it today and it definitely made a difference!

@SoReady I've been using utrogestan too for about my last 3 cycles, I don't mind it! Better then oripro! We are at the stage of trying everything too!

What is everyone's thoughts on sex after embryo transfer? My FS and nurses all say it's fine and probably good but when I was having acupuncture he said no to sex.. I don't know what to do!

    Default May IVF

Hello! Would love to join - starting our very first IVF - ICSI cycle in May!
Excuse the user name - I am 29 with PCOS and my partner is 30 with non-obstructive azoospermia which we have found is a y chromosome microdeletion. Initially he had no sperm in two analysis but then they found minute amounts ( I'm talking fifty live ones), so until those i was in desperate needofhope.
So we have a slim chance but it's nice to have a path to travel.
I feel like I'm going to have alot of questions and what a great place this is to be able to ask.
I'm doing a short anatagonist cycle with puregon and orgalutran.

Any advice or tips would be fantastic!

    Thanks, needofhope

Yep doing perhaps our last round of IVF/ICSI this month. You have to draw the line somewhere I guess and in less than 2 years this will be the 8th EC to happen.
Nothing seems to be wrong except it doesnt seem work....sigh. We are one of the "unexplained" couples.
So started Synarel on day 21 and Puregon 2 days ago. Scan on Monday and probably EC on Friday.
The hospital know me by name at this stage!
Fingers xed this round somehow works and any embryos survive passed the TWW!
What I would give to have a positive pregnancy result for the first time! Looking forward to reading lots of positive stories this month! Let's hope this is our round girls!

@Ashe87 my clinic says it's fine but I have read a lot (on Dr Google so take it with a grain of salt) saying orgasm can trigger uterine contractions so not ideal for implantation. We avoid it just to be safe.
