    Default Dr Antony Lighten - Appreciation thread

    I waited 4 months to see Dr Lighten and the wait was truly worth it. The man is amazing and I'm excited to be cycling with him.

    Any other women who have seen or are seeing Dr Lighten and want to share their experience/journey?

    This man truly deserves an appreciation thread. I've seen 10 fertility specialists and he's the only one who seems to know what he's doing.

    @Lorri I've set up a new thread. Hopefully some other women who've cycled with him or seen him can chime in with their experience.

    Dr Lighten is truly my hero, he has a special place in my heart. He was so positive, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and supportive, I owe him so much. I did 11 BFN cycles with several fertility specialists at 3 separate fertility clinics and none of them were as fantastic as Dr Lighten. I fell pregnant on my first cycle with him. He tried so many different things and they all worked together to help me finally get pregnant for the first time since trying in my 7 year struggle to have a baby. I thank him every day

    @nightowlsurprise...see him in June. Just saw my gynae to get some bloodwork. She did some scans and said she didn't see any signs of endo. So confused.

    How about you?

    The only symptom I have is infertility and pain during intercourse during AF. Otherwise, no other symptoms. You can't really confirm the presence of endo from a scan. The only accurate way to correctly ascertain the presence of endo is through a laparoscopy. I'm happy to go ahead and rule it out. I don't think I have it but I'm really hoping I do because I can't explain the pain during intercourse during AF.

    Wow, this makes me feel awesome, thank you I'm so glad I can somehow pay it forward and help others. I just had such an awful IVF / infertility experience, as I know others do too, that when I found Dr Lighten I just couldn't keep it to myself. I had another lovely Hubber reach out to me to thank me for my feedback on Dr Lighten and we all agree how fantastic he is and he genuinely wants to help us and do his best to bring home a baby.

    Thank you again for your kind words and I wish you all the best on your IVF journey, you're in great hands

    @AceOfBase
    Thanks for your review too. Helped me take the plunge to make him my next FS.
    I just saw my gynae a few days ago for a routine pap smear. She did an ultrasound and vaginal scan and said she found no signs of endo. So confusing 😥 have to trust Dr Lighten!
