@cag14 yes my hubby is also taking coq 10, zinc, vit C, and men's conceive well multi as per our specialist this time around. We have MFI (poor morphology) which is why we need ICSI but now it also seems I have implantation failure probably due to the NKC. Hopefully all these new meds help though.

So sorry to hear you had none fertilize, how devastating. What did your specialist think was the cause? What is balanced translocation, I haven't heard of that before?

@ Finnigan. She doesn't not what the cause was so confused

It's a translocation of chromozone 13,14 that passes onto the fetus causing it to due later in pregnancy. I am a carrier so the only way to have children is this way unfortunately.

How old are you if you don't mind me asking.

NKC how do you know that ? How did you have it now not with your first?

@cag14 Im 35. Hubby is 39. I've had 2 hysteroscopies and 2 biopsies which both came back as high NKC. I was never tested with my first so from what I've been told I may or may not have had them at that stage. They don't know a lot about NKC unfortunately, and a lot of specialist don't treat them at all as they don't believe they have any impact. Plus the treatment they do use is only 'experimental' as there hasn't been any studies done to prove they actually help.

@cag14 Honestly I think it would be a good idea to be tested, it certainly wouldn't hurt. I know at my previous clinic they would usually suggest at hysteroscopy (to have a look see) and uterine biopsy after 3 failed transfers. My current specialist is the same but she also wanted to do a laparoscopy to check my tubes and ovaries. Have you spoken to your specialist about being tested? I think there is also a blood test you can have too to check but I'm not sure of its the same.

I know exactly how you are feeling hun, Im in the same boat as you. The unknown is the worst, and the fact its mostly out of our control is unbearable at times. All you can do is try you best and unfortunately what will be will be.

    Big hugs x

Yep. We're currently on our 2nd FET for #2. Took 5 years to have DD but she was the result of our first try with donor sperm. We had 5 embryos frozen from that same cycle and have used 1 of them already BFN. So 4 left and I have my single transfer on Monday. Hasn't been as easy as I'd have liked second time around; my body is being a bit sluggish in responding to the drugs this time, my current cycle will be about 50 days once I have my blood test!
