Default Suspected endometriosis with no symptoms?

I've been TTC for 2 years now and I've never been able to fall pregnant.

My husband and I had all our levels checked and we were within normal range. My husband's sperm is perfect.

My specialist suggested I might have endometriosis, however, apart from infertility, I have absolutely no other symptoms.

My cycles are every 24 days. I ovulate like clockwork on day 12. I have never had a menstrual cramp or pain. I don't suffer from headaches and my period usually lasts 3-4 days with day 2 being medium flow. Every other day it's light.

I always associated pain with endometriosis and was shocked that not everyone with endo experiences pain.

I've had an internal scan that didn't show any cysts, so I can't say I've ever been diagnosed with chocolate cysts.

I've booked in for laparoscopy as requested by my specialist, but I'm curious, has anyone else had virtually no symptoms and found endo with a laparoscopy??

A Friend had endo with no symptoms what's so ever her original gyno just said to her you've got pcos as the signs where there for that. She got sick of the run around so got a new specialist they did a laporoscopy, she had grade 3 and was pregnant naturally 3 months later. They now have a 5 week old baby. I to had no symptoms but i suspected it was the only thing left on the list my fs would suggest so change of fs, had a laporoscopy with them 6 wks later and pregnant 5 months later naturally off a fet transfer. I have a 8 month old now and I'm having a another laporoscopy next month as we want to have another one

I had no symptoms of endo but after around 20 months ttc I had my first appointment with a specialist and he suggested I have a laparoscopy to check for endo just in case as my infertility was pretty much unexplained. Well turns out I had stage 2 endo. I had no pain and regular, fairly short and light periods. I was pretty surprised. He cleaned it up and told me to keep ttc for another 6 months hoping we might fall pregnant on our own. Unfortunately that didn't happen and we moved on to IVF. We still haven't had any luck and about a year ago I had another laparoscopy in the hopes that would help. The second lap was three years after the first. Best of luck to you. It is not uncommon to fall pregnant after a lap. Even if you don't have endo they will likely do a D&C which can boost your fertility for a few months.

Yes I didn't have any symptoms other than not being able to get pregnant. Tried for 2 years with my first, had a laparoscopy and was stage 2 endo... I got pregnant after 4 months....
Second child we tried to conceive for 8 months and I had another laparoscopy and it had progressed to stage 3 endo (still no symptoms and I had my pregnancy between the last lap too so the specialist said it had come back very aggressively) I got pregnant on the second month (didn't try the first month as I was still too sore)
My AMH levels were really low too and my specialist had given me 3 months to try after my second lap to get pregnant or move straight to IVF so we were very lucky...

Good luck with your lap, I hope you fall quickly after that

Wow.. I'm shocked that endo can manifest itself without any symptoms.

I don't have PCOS (my androgen levels don't indicate PCOS). I really hope they find endo.
@ShannyAnny, have you had any luck trying to figure out why you haven't been able to fall pregnant?

Thanks to everyone who replied. Just in case anyone searches this site and wants to know, they found stage 3 endometriosis. I was quite shocked tbh. Never a symptom, ever. It was all excised and my recovery feels like nothing was done! No pain, no nothing!!!

It's the new silent killer (not really) so to speak. My gyno did mine yesterday,, they brought t forward and they to cut more out.

Give it a few months now to regulate your cycle and you never know it may just happen naturally like myself and my gf

Thanks for the update, sorry to hear about your endo diagnosis! Great to hear you are all cleared out now and fingers crossed that will help you getting pregnant....

It is quite scary how many people are diagnosed without actually having symptoms....

I did my lap about a day before ovulation. My cycles are every 24 days. Really hoping they lengthen. I just couldn't believe they found endo. It's such an ugly looking thing too!!

When did you get your lap done and I take it it took a while for your cycles to go back to normal?
