@LillyM thanks for sharing and I'm sorry for your struggles also.

I can relate to so much in your post, especially where this experience has brought you & your partner closer. DH & I have sat together on the sidelines for so many years watching our friends & family have children and this journey has definitely made our relationship stronger.

Sending best wishes your way for this current cycle.

@LillyM how are you remaining strong through this? I don't know your background but what tests have that done in regards to so many failed cycles. I hope this 8th is your lucky one.

@cag14 it's probably best you ring your specialist for prices but mine was $504 direct to sullivan nicolades, $440 for my specialist to do hysteroscopy, scratch, flush & nkc collection as well as $100 anesthetist fee with private health cover for that and hospital. otherwise $840 for hospital and $495 for anesthetist fee. Is that what you're wanting?

Default The off load IVF page

you need to get it done especially if you've had repeated ivf cycle failures. it's a biopsy of your uterus lining at a certain time in your cycle.

Hi @Lilym it's nice to e-see you again. There's lots of familiar names on this thread and a couple of ladies who are now firm friends. Friendships built from being part of a club that none of us really wants to be a part of but friendships that I definitely cherish and couldn't do without any more.

I can appreciate the roller coaster of ivf when you just give up on it all and come to the precipice of acceptance and then feel yourself being pulled back in to the allure of being a mother once again. Encouraged by the news of someones success, a new drug, a new donor, a new fs only to wake up realising you're there in the thick of it again. Petrified to move forward or backward a never ending limbo of sorts. I hope that if you do decide with your partner to give it another try you start with an intention to draw a line in the sand. I have tried to do that this time and I hope with every ounce of me I can stick to it if this cycle fails. I don't want to devote any more of my soul to ivf. Sometimes I wonder if I even want to be a mother anymore but then it creeps back in.

    Well you know the drill.

I'm lying awake in Cape Town at 5am and stressing. 11 embryos were going strong on day 3 and day 5 transfer is tomorrow. Of course my dreams have been consumed with thoughts that I'll arrive and they'll tell me sorry none of them made it or that my lining is so rubbish they can't transfer. It was only 7mm on day 14 and I'm like day 22 today so this has been a long cycle. I'm trying to look forward to a nice walk in the gardens today and be grateful I could even come here for another try.

Hugs to those with anxiety. She's a bxtch.

    Xx

@Caesardust I am thinking of you awake, and stressing out about your lining and egg numbers. There's not a lot I can say to comfort you but I do really, REALLY want this to work for you. Hopefully you can feel my vibes and love travelling over there to you from Brisbane. 11 embryos going strong on day 3 sounds pretty amazing..I hope you can possibly relax and enjoy your day..easier said than done, I know. Hugs hugs hugs lovely xxxoooooo
