@ShannyAnny it sounds like you have had a long hard journey & it's great that you have a plan forward and feel positive about the next step of permanent care/adoption. It must be like finally seeing a shining light at the end of a deep dark tunnel. Xx

Starting to freak out haven't even got to egg transfer yet. It's been 6 months since my last transfer and I'm starting to get really impatient

Hey Girls! How is everyone going?

I've had a crazy week as DH thought it would be a great idea to get a puppy. It's as cute as a button but it is a little terror and I forgot how full on & needy they are!

We have had a few casualties in the house over the last 48hrs including one of my new havaviana thongs and the corner of my beautiful Nick Scali rug ☹️.
@Charlie74 did you decide to go ahead with another OE cycle this month?
@cag14 were you able to organise some treatment for your high NK cells?

Hi @Tinachris I hope you are all good!

Hi to everyone else as well .

    Hi @Chocolate Rain & @Tinachris!

I've just come back from a gorgeous resort in Port Douglas so actually feeling lovely & relaxed! Great time to go.. Super cheap, & not too hot for a northern hemisphere girl like myself!

I'm doing a down reg OE cycle right now.. Started it a week & a half ago.. Never done a cycle like this, am doing decapeptyl injections every day, bloods on wed to check if my estrogen levels are low enough, & when they are, I'll start stimming. Apparently the idea is to completely control the growth of my follicles so that I get them all closer to the same size. Nurse said it also helps with quality (dunno if she meant the drug itself or the process...?). So we'll see how this one goes. Not expecting a miracle, but am glad the FS is trying something different- I was expecting to do a similar cycle to the 3 I've done already.

Tell u what though.. This is cycle number 7 in total.. And somewhere from mid March till now, my body had just decided to completely balloon!! OMG... I'm definitely heavier now than I've ever been in my life!! It's disgusting & I just don't even feel like myself at all.. I think 7 cycles of prednisolone & huge amounts of estrogen has finally caught up with me. I need to loose some weight ASAP or else I'm thinking I'll never get rid of it.

So from tomoro, holidays are over & I'm in IVF body boot camp.

Your puppy sounds like a gorgeous terror @Chocolate Rain.. You forget how much hard work those cute little critters are!

@Tinachris he is an adorable JR Terrier. He has the attention span of a goldfish! He is only 8 weeks old and so so tiny.

I thought I had done a good job puppy proofing my house but boy was I wrong. He is into EVERYTHING and I've had to remove so much stuff from my living room it looks like our house has been robbed!

He is adorable though and it's so lovely to shift my focus on to something fun for a change .
@Charlie74 your holiday sounds great and I'm glad you got a chance to relax before heading back into the IVF grind.

Yeah prednisolone is evil stuff hey! I only had it for 2 cycles but hated it and I had the worst insomnia on it!

I think it's great you a trying a new protocol. Fingers crossed it is the magic mix for success. Good luck for Wednesday!
