Default Horrid morning sickness i need excuses for work

I have really bad morning sickness that lasts all day (which genius named it morning sickness?)
I have heaps of sick leave and can take leave for the rest of the first trimester but i need a good excuse for work and it cant be the truth

I have a rare chromosomal issue which means i only have approx 30% of a healthy baby. I may need to terminate the pregnancy at 12-13 weeks as my baby would not survive birth. So i cant tell them im pregnant.

But i am dying. Ive tried everything. Eating. Drinking. Sea bands. Lemon. Chips.

Now i need excuses to take time off.

Maybe talk to your GP? If they can do a medical very saying you are suffering from a condition (they don't have to say what) they may be able to give you ideas of an illness that would have similar time off

I'm seeing my GP in half an hour, going to ask him if there's anything I can do because I'm also having horrid all day sickness. I'll let you know what I find out

Simic and happyfish: Ask for Zofran wafers and a medical certificate. Even with your medical concerns I would still consider telling your boss. Good luck

Maybe talk to your doctor about trying restavit (an antihistamine). It's becoming very popular in women who are suffering from severe morning sickness (hyperemesis).

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you @Simil I got whisked away for dinner and then passed out as soon as I got home.

My doctor prescribed me Maxolon three times daily, and if it doesn't work he said to come back and we'll try something else. Apparently it can make you tired (hahaha like I need more of that) so we'll see how it goes. I took one yesterday after the doctors and it definitely made a difference, nausea went away very quickly and returned about four or five hours later just before I went to bed.
