Can I ask what things made you finally decide to go for a third?

I think we have finally decided too and will probably start trying around July.

@PinkPrint re tiredness and looking after small children, I am pregnant with my second so I only have one DS to chase after but he is very high energy! I haven't found it too exhausting because he still naps for 2-3 hours a day. He sometimes wakes up at night so those day naps have been amazing for me. We go for lots of playdates to tire him out and keep busy. And if all else fails - Paw Patrol!! We do have a cleaner once a fortnight though and he goes to family daycare once a week, so maybe that's why I have found it much easier than expected.

Yeah that sounds similar to when I was pregnant with my second, my first still had her day naps so I can sneak in a nap then too which I really needed. So thats what worries me being pregnant again. My second still has her day naps but my first doesn't although she would be happy to sit in front of the tv while I had a little rest on the lounge but then I would just feel so guilty and also thats what brings me back to even considering having a third, feels like I'll be putting my other two kids out a lot

Ive thought about it long and hard and think that I don't want to live my life with regrets and next year my older son will be in grade 2 and the younger one in 3yo kinder so I guess I will have that extra time!

"You only regret the child you don't have" I read that quote somewhere, and I think it is probably pretty true. Once you have a third little person, you wont regret it once he or she is here even if you ummmed and argghhed about the decision.

I just found out I am pregnant with my 3rd and aside from being a tad nervous about the small age gap I am so happy and feel a warmth deep withing my heart <3

Congratulations! That is great that you feel that way. What will the age gap be?

We have decided on June to start TTC. Sometimes I get so excited and want to start right away but then other times I tell myself no I'll just wait so I can give myself time to process it all.

Me too! When are you due?

I commented earlier in the thread about how non committal I was being about ttc and the uncertainty was overwhelming but last week I got a bfp and suddenly it has just felt right. I will have a larger gap this time with 3 years 4 months between the youngest two (2y7m between the first two so oldest will be almost 6).
