    Default Tubal ligation during caesarian

Just wondering if anyone has had their tubes tied during a c-section and any information they could share about the experience.

I'm hoping to have it done later this year. Have to talk to my Ob about it before anything is confirmed but I thought I'd see if anyone here has any personal experience or advice.

I didn't have mine done but if I ended up with a Caesar for number 3 they were happy to do it.

I had mine done during my c/s for DD4. It was only a few extra minutes (say 10-15) on top of the procedure, still got to hold DD4 during that time.
You have probably done all your research but I do always tell people to look into it further and see if it's the right decision for you. I went from AF being normal (even being an endo sufferer) to bleeding constantly and if I wasn't, I'd have spotting. Also lots of weight gain, mood swings, no desire to DTD etc. I had them reversed 2 years ago and immediately everything went back to normal even though my Gyno said it wouldn't.

I thought about doing mine with DD2, and my surgeon was happy to, but I decided against it as they told me there was a slightly higher risk of it not working due to extra swelling caused by the pregnancy and the heightened hormones etc. But I know a couple of people who did, and they said it was done quickly and they didn't have any adverse side effects from it.
