Mrstugs I know what you mean about getting Drs help. My Gp ( who is normally really good) was no help and neither was the paediatrician. They both said he would grow out of his colic. Best advice I had was from @ttc1981 ( many thanks!) to try novolac colic formula and it help so much. My bub gets eczema and the red rash around his mouth too. I didn't realise it could be caused by food allergies. I just got a cream from the Dr. I'll have to watch for flare ups.

I agree with ttc1981 have you thought about formula? Your mental health is very important too

Ttc let us know when you test!!!! Ah the tww torture

Not as easy as formula when his allergies are what they are. Dairy soy corn suddenly there's nothing left. Honestly I believe formula would only make things worse because he gets all his comfort from boob it would be taking his most precious thing away when he needs it most.

@MrsTugs just out of curiosity have you looked into eosinophilic gastroenteritis? Just wondering if the severe food allergies could be more of a gastro issue? I really feel for you and your poor little bubba 🙁

No he's allergic to all (trialled) animal milk. The make up between the different milks is too similar.

    I can't pump - I don't get much milk yield and he doesn't latch to a bottle.

Oh geez really tough maybe get somebody for you to talk too as well and make sure you get some time to get away for a few hours now you have family around... I love my poppet but having just even an hour at the shops to walk around or grab a pedi or just food shop without a 10 month old nagging away

Family don't respect his allergies so I don't feel safe leaving him unsupervised
