Default Wisdom teeth removal while breastfeeding

Hoping someone can share some non-horror story experience! I am booked in to have my four wisdom teeth removed on Friday, joy. As my bottom wisdom teeth are 'floating' (they come up and go down again and are often half out making cleaning impossible), I ended up with an infection on one side down to the bone. I am currently breastfeeding my 6 month old and I am rather nervous about the pain and recovery while feeding. I am being knocked out for the procedure and the surgeon has assured me all medications are totally safe for little dude but I still worry.

Everyone loves to share their horror stories about how awful it is, and I'm worrying about the pain as I'm a sook as well as concerned about my supply being impacted.

    Thanks!

I have had two wisdom teeth taken out in hospital and it was fine for me. I kept up with pain relief but I wasnt breast feeding then.

I had a root canal and some other major work when I was breastfeeding and the medication he gave me was fine. I did express before hand for the first couple of feeds after though just incase. But no horror stories from me.

After wisdom teeth I kept to basic food and stayed on the couch for a bit.

    Good luck

I had mine done in the chair. I had 1 nurofen for pain relief. Mine was top though and bottom are harder to keep clean.

It was a lot better than I thought. So no horror story from me as well.

I had all 4 removed while breastfeeding a 4 month old. Took panadeine and continued breastfeeding, it was ok I was recovered in a week and half and even went on a holiday during my recovery.

If you just follow the instructions you should be fine, only thing I struggled with was the liquid diet, I just missed my meat.
