I just bought what I *think* was a bargain.

I got a second hand Emmaljunga pram (used for one child for 2 months) in immaculate condition for $300. Seriously, there is not a mark on it, and it included both the capsule and toddler seat, rain and sun cover and mozzie net.

I'm stoked! I love the old-style baby buggies! Am now trying to convince hubby why it was a good buy since we already have a Bugaboo ready to go for when bub comes in June. I can re-sell it later on, right?!

I paid $250 for a bugaboo frog in mint condition. It's the older style but was only used for 6months as the previous owners little girl didn't like sitting in it. Came with every Gizo and attachment you could possibly want. Also not sure how a 6 month old could tell her parents she didn't like the pram

Quite easily. My youngest downright refused to sit in our pram until 12 months. When they scream everytime they sit in it you pretty clearly get the picture that they don't like the pram. I didn't change prams, though...just baby wore until my child got over their sheer dislike for the pram.

It can be pretty obvious when your baby cries 24/7 in a particular pram! My DD2 HATED her pram, refused to sit in it - thank goodness it was a hand me down from her older sister who loved it We bought her another one and she was happy as larry sitting in it

I bought a change table with drawers off gumtree for $200.
We've now had it for almost 3 years, 2 babies.
It was exactly what I was looking for but I didn't want to pay over $500 for a new one.

On the flip side I bought a double pram for $300 but it turned out to be a real lemon, the tyres were gone (air filled) and the fabric started to rip in the seats. Had to buy new seat fabric and rear tyres. Have now paid more in replacement parts than I did to buy the bl00dy thing! It is nice for walking though.

Massive Duplo Zoo set for $6

A gorgeous wooden ride on /rocker called a 'Flip' for $4

Lots of different genuine Gro Bags for $1 - $4

About 30 Schleich animals (large and small) together for $20

Lots of designer kids clothes for 20-50 cents

The lady said she spoke the words. To me a 6 month old can't say that. Anyway I've got a good deal she got her cash and was happy

I've also got really good deals on toys and clothes from op shops on the city fringe in adelaide. I look at the suburb and go them specifically for a bargain. But also the op shop where my folks have a holiday house you can get great bargain.

I bought a balance bike for $5 in great condition yesterday

I bought a bugaboo cameleon for £80 a few months ago on the local buy swap sell fb page then bugaboo released the bee5 so DH said if you can sell the other one you can buy the bee, I sold the cameleon for £240 (by splitting it up and selling each part separately, a pain but worth it!).

Then on Saturday I bought a bee carrycot that is £200 new for £40 and its in excellent condition, the lady just wanted it gone!
