    I immediately pictured Felix the cat reading the title of the thread. However most kids these days wouldn't have a clue who that is so I highly doubt he'd be teased (if that's what you're worried about).

    I like Felix. It's like Alex but different. When we were thinking of boys names it was on the list. I wouldn't worry about the association with the cartoon - there are lots of names people use these days that were once cartoon character names! Archie, Betty, Olive, Daisy etc.... who cares.

    I like it and know of a little boy with this name

    Sure my mind immediately jumps to Felix the Cat but once you meet a boy named Felix thats the associatiom you would have (does that make sense)
