Hi! I'm 40 and TTC, but my doctor thinks I might have endometriosis so I'm having a laparoscopy at the end of the month then I will be trying to conceive naturally for 3 months before looking at other options

Hi, Im 43 and desperately trying for "Just one more". I use clomid because my cycles are irregular 29 days to 35 days and that makes ovulation unpredictable. I do still seem to ovulate most cycles without it. Clomid makes me ovulate 8-9 days after the last pill so that narrows the window for TTC. I wont be going onto IVF or anything like that because I do have older children, my youngest is now 2 years old but I just dont feel "done" yet.

    Hi,

i'm in! I'm already an old ftm, I can generally fall pregnant but lose the baby. It took nearly 10years ttc my son. We are trying to give him a sibling. I am 44 and DH just turned 45. He has 'super sperm' and my cycle is 28days so we are just doing cycle tracking + trigger at the moment.

hope to get to know you ladies

Oh yay another person, now there are 3 of us. lol. Hi Deskar and Nightowlsurprise! Im currently 14 DPO and only have those cheapie ebay pregnancy tests so Im in limbo about this month. I thought I saw a super faint second line 11dpo, then nothing 12dpo,but I think I just hoped I did. I want to go buy a digital but just cant emotionally deal with a BFN right now so I'm holding out. Plus I dont want to waste the $25, those things are pricey for one test.

Im 43 and starting to freak out Im just too old... but then I think of that woman in Toowoomba who has 16 kids and is like 46 or something and it gives me hope. lol

    Hi @Rachel3072, I was a week off turning 43 when I had DS. I don't think it's too old

Have you tried first response tests? I need to find out early if I get pregnant and I find them super sensitive. You can often pick up multi-packs on special from chemist warehouse or Costco...

I'm currently waiting for my period AF or whatever, I'm day 29. I usually have a 28day cycle. This cycles was a tracking cycle though and I am on progesterone pessaries from 2dpo. They kept me on a bit longer as it was a long weekend here and we went away instead of getting my blood test on time to confirm I am not pregnant. I had to POS on Sunday and stop using the pessaries if negative. This was a 15dpo instead of the 12dpo I usually have the blood test. Hope that makes sense.

Not too bummed about the negative as I can usually tell when I am pregnant and I wasn't feeling it. Some months I find it hard to tell but not this time...

Hi @nightowlsurprise! Not long now until your laproscopy. I've had a hysteroscopy but not a laproscopy. I have a fibroid (use to have 2 but one died in pregnancy). I hope that you don't have too much endometriosis and they can clean it out. I've heard that you are more fertile for a few months after so fingers crossed for you!

I feel bad because I only just started in this thread and I got a BFP this morning so my wait is already over. Took 5 months of clomid.
    Baby dust to you all.
