    Default Progesterone pessaries.

Hi ladies! I am 15 weeks today and I stopped using progesterones pessaries yesterday (IVF baby, OB asked me to stop at 14) I am a little bit scared now! I guess the placenta will take over but how can I know!! Next week I got an appointment with the OB but just thinking that maybe something could happen this week if my levels are not high enough. Any experiences?

    Hey!
I have read a million discussions on this topic and my research indicates that youll be more then fine. I suspect low prog and that i too will be supplemented hence the research. 14 weeks is plenty.. most women are told to stop at 11-12 weeks.

Dont worry, you will be ok!

My ob was happy for me to stop after my NT scan as long as my cervix wasn't short (I think longer than 2.5cm).

Your placenta will have taken over and you will be fine. If you are still worried you could get repeat bloods and your ob can look at your cervix on ultrasound.

I totally understand how you feel. Each milestone brings another anxiety.
