    Conventional ivf. 1st transfer fresh DD & 2nd transfer FET DS. X1 remaining embryo in freezer my gut feeling says girl

    We got DD from ICSI fresh transfer. Hoping to get another girl from the same batch by FET (boy is fine but girl would be easier since I have everything already). But our sperm was frozen so I'm not sure if that also plays a part as, out of the 8 children I am aware of from our donor, 6 are girls.

    So many variables...

    I read an article about this before, It was around 56% chance of a boy from IVF whereas ICSI was only about 48%. So it is quite a big difference. I don't know how many people they studied- sometimes I wonder if it's just coincidence. It's interesting though, all these gender theories all seem to point to me having a boy! (I love the Chinese gender prediction chart!) I suppose I will find out in 7 months!

    My clinic said conventional has higher boy rate because 'boy' sperm swim faster and hence implant quicker - with ICSI quality of sperm is better with 'girls' so this tends to be higher. Not sure about accuracy of this but seems to correlate with statistics. We've had 1 girl and 1 boy through ICSI. Currently 30w with another girl

    I had IVF for both cycles. How are you going, have you had EPU yet?
