We got DD from ICSI fresh transfer. Hoping to get another girl from the same batch by FET (boy is fine but girl would be easier since I have everything already). But our sperm was frozen so I'm not sure if that also plays a part as, out of the 8 children I am aware of from our donor, 6 are girls.

    So many variables...

I read an article about this before, It was around 56% chance of a boy from IVF whereas ICSI was only about 48%. So it is quite a big difference. I don't know how many people they studied- sometimes I wonder if it's just coincidence. It's interesting though, all these gender theories all seem to point to me having a boy! (I love the Chinese gender prediction chart!) I suppose I will find out in 7 months!

My clinic said conventional has higher boy rate because 'boy' sperm swim faster and hence implant quicker - with ICSI quality of sperm is better with 'girls' so this tends to be higher. Not sure about accuracy of this but seems to correlate with statistics. We've had 1 girl and 1 boy through ICSI. Currently 30w with another girl

I had IVF for both cycles. How are you going, have you had EPU yet?
