Default Sleeping bag & bed sheets

Anyone know if I can buy a sleeping bag for a 2.8 year old that is breathable & suitable (ie SIDS safe etc) for everyday use?

He is OBSESSED with being 'tucked in', to the point that he's now started waking at least once overnight screaming because he's not tucked in. Given he no longer naps, if he's waking a few times a night as well that is not good in terms of him getting enough sleep.

So I thought a sleeping bag might help

Also, I can't spend much cause I'll need to buy at least 2

Also, any tips to prevent him from completely stripping the mattress & then sleeping on it? If he pees or poos on it I can't wash the mattress, but he's taking the fitted sheet & mattress protector off.

All the ones I have seen are up to 3yo.

    What about a weighted blanket?

You can get ergo sleeping bags for 3-6 years.
Or you can now get gro sheets or similar that clip onto the quilt

These may help keep the fitted sheet and protectors on too?

Thanks all! I will check them out

Another question - how does it work putting a walking (& extremely active) child in a sleeping bag? Is he just going to constantly fall over & hurt himself? If he gets out of it he won't be able to get back in without help, which is the issue we have now with his sheet.

Maybe a sleeping bag won't work, but neither is a 1 to 1 1/2 hour battle every night. I just can't afford the kids zip sheets, so I'm not really sure what my best option is

Try and find the ergopouch sleep suits either on sale or second hand on gumtree or eBay. They are amazing quality and zip from a sleeping bag into a sleep suit so they can walk around. They come in size 3-6 years and short sleeve or long sleeve and different tog ratings for warm/cool weather.
